Heather’s Quilting Emporium has become known for being a great destination for beginner quilters to learn in a friendly environment.
Tucked in the picturesque township of Echuca, Heather’s Quilting Emporium is owned and run by Heather Wells. Unlike some
quilting stores that can be a little overwhelming for the novice quilter, we offer a totally unintimidating experience, with a focus on newcomers to the craft. We run friendly beginner classes and there is always somebody on hand to offer advice so that newbies
are made to feel welcome and at ease. Our new quilting online store featuring quilting, patchwork, sewing, fabrics and gifts now makes buying your products much easier.
But even if your beginner days are long behind you, you’ll find plenty to inspire you here at Heather’s Quilting Emporium. The store stocks a huge range of pre-cut fabrics such as charm packs, jelly rolls, layer cakes and fat quarters. Over one hundred bolts of Christmas fabrics are on offer year round, so you never have to wait to get started on those Christmas projects.
We also run exciting BOM programs and a Block of the Month Club, where quilters can gather to socialize.
Heather also offers a quilting service and would welcome the opportunity to discuss your quilting needs.
Echuca is the “Paddle steamer capital of Australia”, so while you are in town be sure to take a paddle steamer ride along the
spectacular Murray River.
